We will continue to operate as such through this difficult period\nas long as we have enough staff to cover.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The official list of Key Workers that the country requires\nto continue to work, during these difficult times, has been released this\nmorning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The wellbeing of our Children, Staff and the wider community\nremains paramount and we must all ensure we follow the guidelines set by the\nGovernment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>If you believe you meet the definition of Key Worker<\/strong> or\nhave a child that is Vulnerable i.e. has a social worker or an education health\ncare plan <strong>please let us know<\/strong> if you have not done so already. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>This will allow us to ensure we staff appropriately from\nnext week. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We will email all parents that we believe have qualified for\na place next week. This will be done late this evening. The majority of you, we\nhave already spoken to. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In accordance with\nthe Government guidance we are unable to offer spaces to children that do not\nmeet the below definition. We appreciate that this poses challenges however we\nmust all put the interest of the wider community first. &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Official Key Worker List<\/strong><strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Vulnerable children:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Children who are \u201csupported by social care, those with safeguarding and\nwelfare needs, including child in need plans, on child protection plans, \u2018looked\nafter\u2019 children, young carers, disabled children and those with education,\nhealth and care (EHC) plans\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Health and social care<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Frontline health and social care staff such as doctors,\nnurses, midwives, paramedics, as well as support and specialist staff in the\nhealth and social care sector. In addition it includes those working in supply\nchains including producers and distributors of medicines and personal\nprotective equipment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Education and childcare<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Nursery, teaching staff and social workers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Key public services<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Those required to run the justice system, religious staff,\nas well as those responsible for managing the deceased, and journalists\nproviding public service broadcasting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Local and national government<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Administrative occupations essential to the effective delivery\nof the Covid-19 response or delivering essential public services, including\npayment of benefits.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Food and other necessary goods<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Those involved in the production, processing, distribution,\nsale and delivery of food.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Public safety and national security<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Police, support staff, Ministry of Defence civilian staff\nand armed forces personnel, fire and rescue staff, and those responsible for\nborder security, prisons and probation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Transport<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Those who will keep air, water, road and rail passenger and\nfreight transport modes operating during the Covid-19 response.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Utilities, communication and financial services<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Staff required to keep oil, gas, electricity, water and sewerage operations running. Staff in the civil nuclear, chemical and telecommunications sectors.
